I have been the audio archivist for the Estate of Elliott Smith since 2006. I research his recordings, find tapes and data, oversee digital backups, catalog the songs, and supervise media storage. I also researched, mixed and wrote liner notes for Elliott's posthumous New Moon album, released in 2007, and oversaw the remastering of his first album, Roman Candle, re-released in 2010. Listen or download the remaster of "Last Call" that Roger Seibel at SAE and I did for Roman Candle. Recently I worked on An Introduction to Elliott Smith (due out in November 2010), collecting audio tracks and overseeing mastering with Roger Seibel as well as remixing "Last Call" from its original 4-track master and writing an extensive essay/liner note about Elliott's recording career.
